Lilac Babes began originally in 2013 under the name Wild Violet, which started as an online wholesale retail shop selling only purple items. It later expanded to all colors and changed names to Rogue Daisies in 2014. By the following year, the original vision of an all purple brand had slowly began to die, with the founder, Rose Pendleton, losing love and heart for the brand after it lost its purple aesthetic. Therefore, in 2016 a new brand emerged with the old purple vision, but with a twist of aliens named “Lilac Babes”. It launched one small collection of wholesale retail items in purple under the name “Wanderers of the Night” in Fall 2016, then slowly disappeared for more than a decade.
However, it was never forgotten. During that decade, Rose Pendleton expanded the entire brand with a backstory of beautiful aliens from a purple planet with lilac colored skin and a unique love for their color purple in every shade. They came to earth and became lost unable to return to their home planet. Their skin changed to match humans so they could blend in, but are still purple underneath These “Babes” formed a community in order to find all their missing people lost here on Earth. from a purple planet named Planet Lilac, home to beautiful alien beings with lilac colored skin and a unique love for style and their color purple in every shade.
Rose worked endlessly for 10 years making sure every detail of the brand and it’s strategy was “solid with rockstar vibes”. By the end of 2025, she finished the business plan for Lilac Babes and began efforts to turn it into a reality. The first original and official collection launched with the brand on June 5, 2026 with the name “Rebel Genesis” for Spring/Summer 2026. The brand will continue to evolve with the help of you and it’s other followers spreading the word so others can become Babes just like us.
Planet Lilac
Planet Lilac is a small lilac planet with a purple orbit ring. The pastel sky has two crescent moons visible both day and night all year long. It is located just outside the Milky Way past it’s neighbor Pluto. The inhabitants are called Liliacians, officially. However, they are referred to as “Babes” (unanimous with human “beings”) and have lilac colored skin and incredible sense of fearless, bold and unapologetic style. The Founder
Rose Pendleton, is a 38 year old actress, fashion model, designer, digital media artist, published photographer, writer and entrepreneur from Los Angeles, CA. Her previous clothing brand launched in 2009 named I’m A Jerk Industries and went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016. Her clothing has been featured in magazines, movies, music videos, and was previously sold in some stores located in Southern California.
